As promised, here are the links to The Smallweeds web and Instagram sites. These are updated more frequently than this site, so they’re the best place to go for upcoming gigs, etc:

Band news!

Going forward, you’ll see any upcoming group performances as by “The Smallweeds.” This is a reference to a family of peculiar characters in the Dickens novel Bleak House. The members of this family are hilarious and a tad sinister – just like the band. And for those unfamiliar with the book, they’ll just think we’re a small patch of weeds (or patch of small weeds). That works too. We hope you’ll embrace this new name, and that it will forever live on the lips of our audiences and their progeny (or something like that;). Social media pages for The Smallweeds are still under development, but we’ll notify when they’re available and link them here.

Check out the new single, Brave Heart! It was a Christmas gift to my daughter Emily in recognition of her work on human rights. Rock on!

The new album released on May 3! Check it out on Spotify.

Here’s a sneak peek from the new collection of songs. Angel of West Park is a tribute to my mom, and school nurses everywhere, who are equal parts medical practitioner and social worker and a pivotal shoulder to cry on.
